Terms of Service

Last updated September 8, 2026

The essential agreement

Use Floorix lawfully, protect your account, obtain permission for the information you enter, and review every business document before sending it.

Ask a question

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Floorix website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, requesting or starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Floorix for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and business use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. Floorix is intended for business and professional use by contractors, subcontractors, and authorized team members.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect account credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for assigning appropriate access to your team. You may not share credentials in a way that bypasses account limits or allows unauthorized access.

4. Trials, subscriptions, and fees

Floorix may provide a 45-day free trial without requiring a credit card. Unless a different written offer applies, continued use after the trial requires a paid subscription. The current standard price is $29.99 per month for one contractor profile, plus $10.99 per month for each subcontractor added to the account. Applicable taxes may be added.

Pricing, billing intervals, renewal terms, and available features will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund fees already charged, except when required by law or expressly stated in writing. We may change future pricing with advance notice.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of information, documents, photos, logos, text, and other content you submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Floorix a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Customer Content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and comply with law.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide Customer Content and allow its use within Floorix. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, and backup of Customer Content.

6. Customers, crew members, and location verification

You are responsible for providing appropriate notice and obtaining any consent required before entering information about customers, employees, workers, or subcontractors. If you enable or require location-based clock-in or clock-out, you must clearly inform affected people how location information is collected and used and comply with applicable privacy, employment, labor, and monitoring laws.

Location results may be affected by device settings, signal conditions, permissions, or technical limitations. Floorix does not guarantee that a location reading proves a person's identity, exact location, work performed, or entitlement to compensation.

7. Estimates, contracts, invoices, and electronic signatures

Floorix provides tools for creating, sending, organizing, and signing business documents. Templates, generated text, calculations, totals, payment schedules, and signature workflows are provided for convenience and are not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or employment advice.

You are responsible for reviewing each document, calculation, term, recipient, signature, and legal requirement before relying on or sending it. You decide whether a document is appropriate and enforceable for your transaction and jurisdiction. Floorix is not a party to agreements between contractors, customers, workers, or subcontractors and does not resolve disputes between them.

You consent to conducting transactions electronically and agree that electronic actions may serve as your signature where legally permitted. You are responsible for obtaining required consent from other signers and preserving any records your business must keep.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Break the law, infringe rights, mislead others, or facilitate fraud.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service or another user's account.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, probe security, reverse engineer protected portions of the Service, or bypass usage limits.
  • Send spam or unlawful communications.
  • Store information you are not authorized to possess or disclose.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties unless Floorix agrees in writing.

9. Floorix ownership

Floorix and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, documentation, and other materials, excluding Customer Content. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the Service during an active trial or subscription. No other rights are granted.

10. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or connect with third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, forms, email, maps, analytics, or payments. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Floorix is not responsible for services it does not control.

11. Service changes and availability

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Trials, previews, and newly released features may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Floorix or cancel your subscription according to the account or billing instructions provided. We may restrict or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the Service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

After termination, your access may end and Customer Content may be deleted according to our retention practices. Export important records before closing an account.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Floorix disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Floorix does not guarantee business results, legal compliance, payment, customer performance, worker conduct, location accuracy, or the enforceability of any document.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floorix and its founders, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floorix's total liability arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Floorix during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where they are prohibited by law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Floorix and its founders, personnel, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service, your contracts or relationships with customers or workers, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Illinois, and each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms with a new last-updated date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

18. General terms

These Terms and any applicable order or written agreement are the entire agreement concerning the Service. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business.
