“We began with curiosity and continue with gratitude.”
Why we built Floorix

Built from 25 years in the field.
Designed around the people who do the work.

Floorix began with a simple question: why should managing a job create almost as much work as completing it?

We met with contractors and subcontractors, observed how they managed real jobs, asked questions, and listened. We studied how customer information was collected, estimates were prepared, contracts were handled, crews reported time and progress, and payments were tracked.

We saw skilled people holding jobs together through calls, text messages, paper estimates, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. Many worked primarily from their phones and had little time to learn complicated software or enter the same information repeatedly.

“The tools should follow the job, not make the crew follow the software.”

From research to workflow

One customer. One connected job.

The problem was not a lack of tools. The tools did not reflect how work happens in real life. That led to Floorix’s central design decision: make the customer profile the starting point and let the entire job grow from it.

Observe the real work

We researched where jobs slow down: repeated entry, scattered information, unclear crew activity, missed follow-ups, and paperwork that depends on memory.

Connect the handoffs

Customer information is entered once. Estimates, contracts, invoices, projects, crew assignments, labor records, and payments stay connected to that profile.

Move the job forward

Instead of rebuilding the job at every stage, the information moves with the work, reducing friction without forcing crews to change how they operate.

Our vision

Floorix is being built for the entire crew.

Clarity for contractors

A clear view of customers, estimates, projects, payments, and people.

Simplicity for subcontractors

Clear job information and a straightforward way to report time, progress, notes, and photos.

Accountability in context

Crew activity stays attached to the right job without creating more paperwork.

Less friction around the work

Our goal is not to add more software. It is to help everyone spend less time managing information and more time moving the job forward.
